DESCRIPTION

We provide both in-person and online individual tutoring for K-12 students, college/university students, and test preparation subjects. Our students come from various private and public schools and represent different academic levels.

  • Lessons can take place via Zoom, at the student’s home, or another preferred public location.

  • Tutors typically work between 8 and 30 hours per week, with tutoring locations arranged to be near the tutor’s home or workplace.

  • Sessions generally occur from 2:30pm to 11:00pm Monday through Friday, and from 8:00am to 11:00pm on weekends.

  • Tutors usually maintain a consistent schedule with the same students each week.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are highly selective in choosing our tutors. A B.S. or B.A. from a respected university is required for all applicants. Individuals pursuing a Master's degree or PhD, as well as certified teachers, are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates must fulfil the following criteria:

  • A minimum of 3 years of prior teaching or tutoring experience

  • A relatively flexible schedule, especially during evenings and weekends- Experience in creating lesson plans and managing tutoring schedules

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher from a reputable university

  • Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to students' locations

  • A fun, positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills

  • A commitment of at least 1 year
