DESCRIPTION
We provide both in-person and online individual tutoring for K-12 students, college/university students, and test preparation subjects. Our students come from various private and public schools and represent different academic levels.
Lessons can take place via Zoom, at the student’s home, or another preferred public location.
Tutors typically work between 8 and 30 hours per week, with tutoring locations arranged to be near the tutor’s home or workplace.
Sessions generally occur from 2:30pm to 11:00pm Monday through Friday, and from 8:00am to 11:00pm on weekends.
Tutors usually maintain a consistent schedule with the same students each week.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are highly selective in choosing our tutors. A B.S. or B.A. from a respected university is required for all applicants. Individuals pursuing a Master's degree or PhD, as well as certified teachers, are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates must fulfil the following criteria:
A minimum of 3 years of prior teaching or tutoring experience
A relatively flexible schedule, especially during evenings and weekends- Experience in creating lesson plans and managing tutoring schedules
A Bachelor’s degree or higher from a reputable university
Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to students' locations
A fun, positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
A commitment of at least 1 year
